Terms of Service — Monitorwise

These terms explain how Monitorwise may be used, what the service provides, what it does not guarantee, and how billing and account responsibilities work.

Service description

Monitorwise is a client risk and proof layer for webcare teams. It provides monitoring, alerting, reporting, proof, and status communication tools for configured client website URLs and contact paths — including uptime and TLS checks, content drift detection, critical element visibility, incident history, proof reports, proof links, and optional public or client-facing status pages.

The service is designed to help freelancers, webcare teams, and small agencies detect and document issues earlier. It does not replace your own judgment, change management, hosting support, backups, or client communication.

Account responsibility

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for the URLs, selectors, alert destinations, notification settings, public status visibility, and client-facing proof links you configure in your account. You are also responsible for reviewing alerts, reports, and shared links before sending them to clients or prospects.

Authorized monitoring only

You may only monitor websites, pages, paths, or client assets where you have authorization, ownership, operational responsibility, or a legitimate business interest to watch them. Do not use Monitorwise to monitor third-party sites without permission.

No abuse or harmful scanning

Monitorwise is not for abusive probing, vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, malware scanning, harassment, or illegal monitoring. Do not attempt to bypass rate limits, overload target sites, or use the service in ways that violate applicable law or third-party terms.

Service limitations

Monitorwise records configured monitoring signals and proof history. It helps you catch and document issues earlier, but it does not guarantee zero downtime, zero lost leads, or full QA coverage.

Monitorwise does not guarantee uninterrupted client websites, zero business impact, or that every outage, content change, contact-path problem, or lead loss will be detected. Check intervals, network conditions, page structure changes, third-party services, and your configuration can all affect results. Monitoring output is informational — not a warranty of site availability, revenue protection, or complete QA coverage.

Contact path checks

Contact path checks watch visibility of forms, CTA text, booking or contact links, and configured selectors. They do not submit live forms or complete bookings unless a future product feature explicitly supports safe, controlled form checks and you choose to enable it.

Public status pages and proof links

Public status pages and proof links may expose selected monitoring information when you enable, publish, or share them. Review what you share before sending links to clients or prospects. Unpublished monitors and private account data are not exposed through those links unless you configure them to be.

Alerts and reports

Alerts, proof reports, public proof links, audit share links, and status pages are informational. Review them before forwarding to clients. Monitorwise is not responsible for wording, timing, or business decisions made from monitoring output.

Billing and plans

Paid plans (Free, Pro, Agency, and Studio) are billed through Stripe. Stripe handles payment card and subscription payment data under its own terms. Monitorwise receives limited billing identifiers needed to activate and manage your plan. Plan features, prices, and limits are described on the pricing page and in your account.

Cancellation

You can cancel paid subscriptions through billing (Stripe customer portal where available). After cancellation, access and plan limits may change immediately or at the end of the current billing period, depending on how your subscription is configured. Free accounts can stop using the service by deleting monitors or closing the account.

Data deletion

You can request account deletion or data removal by contacting support@monitorwise.io. Details on what we store and your GDPR rights are in our Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Monitorwise evolves. The version published on this page applies. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms for ongoing service use.
